2004
SuSoS AG was founded on 17 August 2004 by Dr. Samuele Tosatti (CEO) and Dr. Stefan Zürcher (CTO) as a spin-off from the ETH Zurich under the name of SurfaceSolutions GmbH. Since then, our science-based, practical applications have been successfully brought to the market.
SuSoS AG and the ETH Zurich still work closely together, both parties relying on the know-how and experience of the other.
2007
This was a year of major change: the company moved from the laboratories of the ETH Zurich into its own research space in Dübendorf, with a total area of more than 350 square meters. The founders and owners changed the status of the company on 30 May 2007 to that of a corporation (Aktiengesellschaft). This was the rallying call for those who wished to participate in this dynamic small company and its future growth. Along with this structural change, came a new look for our corporate design.
